A spare room that had to become a real workplace — and an entry that had to swallow coats, boots and baskets without a hallway's worth of clutter.
Chapter OneThe approach
A full oak-slat feature wall carrying floating charcoal cabinets and shelves, anchored by a solid-oak desk on blackened steel; at the entry, a charcoal entryway unit with hooks, an oak bench and drawers below.
