Three rooms of a character home that needed serious storage — a bedroom wall, a dressing nook and a hard-working mudroom — without losing the house's playfulness.
Chapter OneThe approach
Painted fitted wardrobes with antique-brass pulls, an arched dresser niche built into the wall, and a mudroom of white oak crowned with blue doors and perforated-brass mesh.
Chapter TwoThe result
Storage that belongs to the house — each room resolved, and a mudroom guests ask about by name.
